NOSTid Architect reader series
With Architect, STid has created a reader series that works equally well with secure card technology as with virtual access cards for mobile. Thanks to multi-technology, the readers can handle both Mifare 13.56 MHz, 125 kHz Prox technology and optionally with Bluetooth. If you do not need to read Prox, but need biometric authentication or reading QR and barcodes for visitor management, you can use the modules specifically for these functions. This means that the Architect series can be used for both high security and user-friendly access control, regardless of the security level and access technology used. All STid Architect 13.56 MHz (and Bluetooth®) readers are now compatible with virtual cards stored in Apple Wallet™ on iPhone. They support Apple's Enhanced Contactless Polling (ECP v2.0) for all access control applications with an iPhone that use NFC.
All configurable functions in the readers can easily be configured with the SECard software, which can be downloaded free of charge. Read more about SECard configuration software here.
A wide range of models and modules means that STid covers most needs, regardless of security level. At no extra cost, Architect can be used with virtual access cards for mobile phones.
High security
The reader can utilize the latest Mifare DESFire EV2 and EV3, but also EV1 and Mifare Classic technologies. Using Mifare DESFire EV2 and EV3 contactless communication, with new data security mechanisms, you can ensure your users' access control:
- Secure Messaging EV2: secure method for transactions based on AES-128 with protection against interleaving and replay attacks.
- Proximity check: enhanced protection against relay attacks.

Optimize technology migrations
STid has designed the Architect Blue Hybrid card reader for access control - a perfect blend of three identification technologies - 125 kHz + 13.56 MHz + Bluetooth - to more easily migrate to higher and more advanced security levels.
The Architect Blue Hybrid card reader makes it easy to manage expansions, updates and technical migrations. It combines three identification frequencies: 125 kHz (EM, Crosspoint...), 13.56 MHz (all types of MIFARE chip, including DESFire® EV3, NFC, CSN by iCLASS™*...) and Bluetooth. If you need to set up a complex configuration in multiple locations, this reader can be used to read a number of different cards.

Architect® Blue Hybrid can be tailored to your needs, ensuring that all functionalities and security levels can be upgraded across all your readers. The modular concept allows you to easily implement new features, e.g. touch screen or biometrics.

Welcome to high security
STid access readers are suitable for both standard access control and for organizations or locations with extra high security requirements, being the first RFID manufacturer to receive First Level Security Certification (CSPN). This is a recognition of their significant knowledge and expertise in technology and security that is implicit in all STid products. The ARC and ARCS readers offer the latest MIFARE® contactless chip technology with new data security features. This allows the use of open secure encryption algorithms (3DES, AES, SHA ...) in accordance with ANSSI's RGS requirements. All STid readers are manufactured in Europe, certified by ANSSI and meet NIS2 and NDAA requirements for the highest security. STid mobile ID can also be used with Apple Wallet™ on your iPhone.

STid offers a range of options to customize the readers with your company's profile. Decide on cover color, LED colors and logo printing. With "skin effect" technology, you can get readers that fit even better into the interior, such as wood, metal, etc.
